Honda Motor Co. is a Japanese global mobility company that manufactures motorcycles, automobiles and power products. The company was established in 1948 and has manufacturing facilities in several countries, including North America, Europe, Brazil, Mexico and Thailand. During December, Honda and Japan's Nissan Motor Co announced they were in talks to merge their operations by 2026, a historic pivot for Japan's auto industry. The combined conglomerate, which could potentially include Nissan's stake in Mitsubishi Motors, would amount to more than 8 million vehicle sales annually.
